  I recently found out that Demi, who is a petting fiend, has a strong predilection for being petted by feet
  
  I mean it takes only 5-10 minutes to get her to bliss state, whereas it takes 30-45 minutes with normal hand petting. AND it doesn’t have to be on her head/shoulders, it can be on her back and her belly. AND I can accomplish this without looking, while I’m working at my desk (awesome when doing a master’s).
  
  Does anyone else have a bunny like this? Or know why feet?!

  My Yohio likes being pet with my feet. He head-butts my foot when I’m sitting at my writing-desk, and I of course have no choice but to pet him with my foot. I’ve become quite good at reading and writing on the laptop at the same time.
  
  I don’t know why he likes it so much, perhaps it’s just that my feet are more available to him than my hands generally are. Or perhaps human feet are regarded as less potentially dangerous than human hands. Human hands after all can grab a bun and subject it to nail-clipping and butt-inspections. Human feet never do that.

  Good theories about feet vs. hands! My poor bunny is traumatized by being cared for, that makes me a little sad but at least I have a second option, right? And it is so convenient.
  
  Good to know there’s at least one other person out there who does this! I’m one of those people who hates feet, so this is all very strange and confusing for me lol

  Oh my yes! Clover makes no bones about it. She’ll bop over to my feet and literally cram her entire head under my foot, then go to sleep. Or flop herself down on both my feet and snooze. When she’s not in my lap making demands, that is.

  Haha, yes! It’s the only time I ever see her sleep, is after a big foot pet! For MONTHS, we wondered when in the #@%& does this bunny sleep?!?
