I’ll start by saying – everyone is fine!

but i’ve got a free roam bun and a new addition living in an x-pen in the room until they are bonded. and today the new bun got out of her pen when i was at work!  i walked in a she was just sitting in the middle of the floor, proud of herself and happy as a little clam.  It didn’t look like they bunnies had interacted with each other at all (no signs of hair pulling/neither bunny acted scared or upset/both are going about their business as usual ect) but still gave me quite a fright.  I figure my older bun just stayed under the bed the whole time (she likes to sleep there) and the new bunny hadn’t worked up the courage to peek under there yet.  Regardless… it won’t be happening again so I guess I have to go hunt down a zip-tie because little miss Houdini over here is no longer content with her accommodations.

Glad to hear that they didn’t fight! Two days ago Domino had managed to hop over into Pip and Oliver’s pen. Let’s just say we weren’t so lucky. There was loads of fur in the morning and Oliver and Domino had to go to the vet. Domino got the worst of it. I also have to put blankets over the top of the pens at night, and have locks on them at all times. Oliver knows how to open the pens, so they have to have locks on them. Plus the tops so that they don’t hop out.
