Jack somehow found some double-sided carpet tape and it’s stuck on the fur under his chin. How do I get rid of it without hurting him??

Can you take a pair of small nail scissors and snip it off?

Maybe sewing scissors would be easier than nail scissors?

He is too flighty to use scissors; I’m afraid if I tried I might cut his skin He’s currently molting, so I was wondering if maybe he’ll eventually molt the tape off? (like in a week?)

If it’s stuck on well, the best thing would be to cut it off however you are right to be concerned and you would need to be extremely careful. It would be best if you could have someone help you who could hold him still while you cut the tape so that he couldn’t move. You could also use child-safe scissors with the rounded end to reduce to chance of cutting the skin and make sure you cut as close to the tape as possible. Otherwise you can pull it off if you pull the fur from the tape, not the tape from the fur. Meaning that you’re not tugging the skin with the fur, you’re holding the fur and pulling it away from the tape so that it avoids pulling on your bunny’s skin.
