Would anyone like to take a gander at what breed(s) my new little girl is? She is small, around 2-3 lbs, with a very petite, build, narrow face, and loooong ears! Also, what color would her coat be considered?

Yeah she’s some kind of dwarf breed/mix. Not even close to Netherlands dwarf, and she doesn’t have rex fur….

I think she is a polish, because of her size and her ears and her face.

Thank you! This kind of Polish, right? The British Polish? http://animal-world.com/encyclo/critters/rabbits/brittaniapetite.php

What a sweet face! Im not sure on breed… but I agree, likely a mix of some sort.

I think her colour would be called sooty fawn. A vienna marked sooty fawn because of that cute white spot on her nose. Sooty fawn is similar to tort colourations though I think, so she could be one of those. Do you have any more pics?

Sooty fawn makes sense, she has more red in her coat than my black tort mini lop. She also has white claws whereas my boy has black claws. I’ll take more piccies of her tomorrow. <3

Sooty fawn is the same as black tort I thought? Or am I wrong?

She’s very beautiful. Very elegant and lady-like.

Here they are side by side for a color comparison. Fatbit is for sure a black tortoiseshell, and Saoirse has more red in her coat. I wonder if it’s just different shades of sooty fawn/black tort?

I know nothing about breeds, but I love her name. Odette was almost a Saoirse. My Betta fish are Selkie and Saoirse, so I thought that might get confusing.

When I think of Polish rabbits, I think of American Polish. They have broad heads and small ears. I agree that she shares features with what we would call a Britannia Petite. It isn’t a very common breed though. I’m guessing she’s probably a mix though since she has a white snip on her nose.

I think I figured out what color she is! I’m pretty sure Saoirse is an undermarked harlequin! She has patches of darker brown fur that’s very apparent on her face and on her sides. She’s not shedding, the spots aren’t changing. It’s very subtle but she’s definitely got different colored spots.

The darker patches aren’t symmetrical on either side of her face/body? If they aren’t, then your conclusion would make the most sense.
