I have a new member to our little bunny family, and I was wondering if it was possible for him to learn to use the litter box from my other rabbit. My other bun, Gnar, he learned from our cat who he is best friends with and uses it more than he uses his pan. Nishki, the new fella, has gone well with beginning to slowly bond with Gnar. Nishki is still young but he is very friendly and really likes Gnar so far, as does Gnar to him. I have let Nishki check out the litter box and he wanted to take a nap in there after sniffing the place out. So, would it be possible for Nishki to learn from Gnar?

Okay, so my rabbit who I have had for 2 days has learned to go in the litter box already!

The easiest way to do it is to let him go to the bathroom wherever for the first time. Once he goes but the litter box where he went! They pick the spot. They usually go back to the same spot so let him choose the spot and then he will go in the litter box. Simple.

Don’t get me wrong you have the option of taking time for him to learn but just let him get into the habit of repeatedly doing the same thing, will be faster!

          Hope this helped!
