        Hello,

I have a spayed female and a neutered male they just got fixed in the beginning of the month. I have read a bunch of stuff about bonding but I’m not sure of its working out. They don’t fight occasionally will chase each other. Try to hump each other a lot. There was one incident where. The male plucked some hair from the female on the 2nd day of bonding. But it hasn’t happened since. They seem to be getting along but I’m just looking on some advice tips or suggestions.

        Thank you!

I would separate them for a few weeks longer. They may still have hormones racing around inside, which hinders bonding. It took mine at least a full month for his hormones to calm down after neutering. Also, they could hurt each other where they were operated on, so that’s another reason to wait to bond. After that, I would start slowly with bonding, because it can happen quickly, or take months. Fur pulling is normal, but everybody has a different type of experience. I think it’s too early to decide if they like each other or not.
