I noticed this morning my 5 yo bunny has not been eating, do noticed a couple of days ago he was looking abit scruffy but I just put that down to mauling he’s a lion head so moults a lot around this time of year.
He’s lost a lot of weight, and hasn’t been eating or drinking, I’ve managed to syringe some water for him and he’s has since started drinking out of a shallow bowl by himself, I also gave him some baby veg, puréed through a syringe, he seems a lot more alert than he did this morning and has been moving around where he wasn’t this morning. He has had a poo too which had a long stringy mucous through it and it’s has a really strong smell.
Is this a good sign or a bad sign ? I’m going to get him to a vets first thing.

Take him to a vet. What you are describing is most likely GI Stasis and it is very deadly. He has lost weight so that’s a red flag, mucous in poop, red flag, not eating, red flag. Take him to the vet as soon as possible.

And keep your bunny warm in the meantime. Maybe some stomach massages. Critical care is good for the meantime. Keep him hydrated. Try and hand feed him hay. Do some research and keep your bunny company.
