Since I got her Golbez has pooped and peed in her cage exclusively.  I rarely ever saw a poop outside of it.  She just knew where to go!  But the last couple of days she has been doing her business everywhere but the cage.
        I keep it clean.
Important info: She had babies 2 weeks ago and they recently started wandering from the nest.  Could that have something to do with it?  She built the nest inside the  cage an had been continuing to poop there (away from babies) until they started wandering.  I think that may be it so I have set up a sort of separate area for them outside of the cage (I discarded the nest, read that if they have hopped away freely then they don’t need it anymore) so they are no longer in the cage…hopefully that works out I’ll post an update tomorrow morning.

Also: Unrelated but this website logs me out whenever I click on Forum…very irritating.

I suspect it is to do with the babies becoming more mobile. As they get older, she will be wanting her own space more where she can escape them. Otherwise they’ll just be hounding her for a feed all the time. Have they begun to sample some solid foods yet? They still will need her milk of course, but there’d be plenty for them to graze on during the times she is not present for nursing them.

I’ve been automatically logged out a few times also. I’ll let BB know it’s happening. Meanwhile, try checking the “Stay logged on” box where you sign in and see if that helps.

I moved them out of the cage. Woke up 3 hours later, poop still not getting in cage…. I’ll try removing the bars/adding more bedding
            EDIT: a word
