Hello, my pair have been bonded for approximately 4 months, and apart from the odd disagreement they’ve been a happy pairing. I recently got Yumi ,my female spayed and I know that can cause aggression but after a week she seemed to calm down and they were back to their cuddly selves after only a few days. (2 mornings of chasing and then they were back to normal)

Unfortunately I got called away on work and have been gone for 5 days and will be gone for a further 8. According to my mom everything with the rabbits is fine. According to my brother, everytime someone goes near them Yumi will chase Sampras away, before returning to the human for attention, ans stamps her feet if she sees him getting attention .
If noone is near the cage she is still happy to groom him and be groomed and they still hang out and flop down next to each other

Should I get my family to separate them while I’m gone?
I feel like it’s nothing more than jealousy, but I’m worried it would escalate?

Can your family pet both bunnies at the same time so neither get jealous? Or give Yumi extra attention before and after petting Sampras?

Thanks for your reply, I told my family to do this and to offer no treats to either of them. Apparently they’ve calmed down
