        Hello guys,

First off thanks for having me here at binkybunny, you guys are great at helping me.

I currently have two bunnies. One male and one female. Both are fixed. I wanted to bond them so they would have each other as friends.

I have done 4 sessions one each day and all have been sucessful. (Incriments of 20-45minutes each day or more)

I was affraid to tackle this as I read about agressiveness during bonding., but mine are doing so well.

No agression, no bitting. The only things I see are chasing to hump. The male tries to hump the female. Once shes ok with his actions they flop together and groom each other.

So my question is what should I do next? Should I set up a temporary home for the both of them or keep going with these sessions?

        Thanks Cyndy

Keep with the sessions. Chasing can easily turn into a fight and mounting can be very stressful on the bottom rabbit. Increase the time for the sessions by 30 minutes to one hour. Once they can go about 4 hours together, move to a bigger space and start again at an hour. Then increase that time by 30 minutes to an hour. Once they are in this space for about 4 hours and doing fine, move to the area they will be sharing and start there at about 2 hours. Increase their time there by 30 minutes to an hour each session until they are able to stay over night with one another without any chasing or mounting. Also, make sure you are removing mounting after about 10 seconds to avoid the bottom bun form becoming too stressed out
