My 6 month old holland lop is doing great at his litter training!…. But only in his cage. When I let him out to free roam, he seems to poop all over! Even though he has access to his litter tray in his cage. Should I get another litter tray to keep outside his cage as well? Also, I love when my bunny runs around on my bed. But occasionally he’ll pee!!! The poop is whatever and easy to clean, but the pee….. He was neutered a month ago, if that has anything to do with it (but he’s always done this since I got him at 8 weeks)

        Please help!! Thank you!

I’ve heard that it takes a month or two to correct their behaviour after getting them spayed/neutered. If you can I would use the same litterbox to stay outside with them, just so they don’t get confused. After every time they pee on your bed, soak it up with a paper towel or napkin and place it in their litterbox. Make sure they know it’s there, and I’m not too sure what to do if it’s in their hutch.. Hope this helped a little bit thoughn

My boyfriend had the same problem with his free-roaming bunnies. Bunnies love to toilet on soft things, so beds will always be a prime spot. We made a rule that the bun is not allowed on the bed or in the bedroom, except for a short time to cuddle with us.
