Here is Winnie’s Completed Rabbit Room!

The question I have is, is this a big enough room for my flemish when I get it?  Winnie has been hanging in the living room with me sometimes and the flemish will also have free range of my house, but when im not home and at night time he will have to be in this room with Winnie, is it big enough?  Winnie in her cage, her litterbox and food in here

I don’t know how much space a Flemish needs, but surely this must be more space than most Flemishes ever get to enjoy? It’s lovely!!! But will he fit through the tunnel?

I love it! So much space indeed. It’s plenty of room for a Flemish. I know people who keep their Flemmies in oversized C&C cages when they’re not at home or sleeping. So yes, plenty of space

All it needs is hay strewn all over the floor and it will be complete

That looks great! Can I ask what you are using over the tile? Is it just a blanket? I have hardwood floors and would love to have something put down so my bunny doesn’t slide all over!

Awesome! If it is just a blanket over the floor, you may want to somehow weight down the corners or put weight on some of the edges, like have the hidey houses just sitting an inch or two over the edge and the dog pen on the other edge and maybe something weight slight on the other two. The reason being is IF it is slick and moves around, when your bunnies do binkies and zooms, it can make for a slipping hazard still with the blanket as the blanket slides around the floor when they land or push off. Bunnies are more apt to pull a back leg ligament in these cases. Hard to tell from the pictures how stable the blanket is.

It looks great though and they are lucky to have you!

Errr I, myself, human being (just! ) have a lived in a room smaller than that, so yes methinks is OK for a Flemmie – LOL !!!

Yes a moving blanket is not ideal for powerful flemmie “boings”. It could be replaced by a bunny carpet to make binkies so much easier for him/her !! If you don’t want a big carpet /rug on the floor, I’ve got a couple of smallish round Ikea rugs (about 2ft in diameter) which my big bun uses to jump from one to the other with, like a frog on lilypads !! …. it could be another solution…

If you’re getting flemmie as a baby then you’ll adapt to his:her needs when you spot them
You will also learn they can jump very high, so put a lock on the door or he’ll soon be opening it

(I agree with Azerane – it’s far too tidy for a bunny room!!)

Lol thanks guys! Yes, right now that is a huge blanket on the floor, its an extremely heavy blanket, but thin. I do plan on getting a giant rug for that room, when winnie does binkies it will kind of move, I know when flemmie does binkies it definitely will move. Winnie is a very clean lady lol. That room was filled with boxes for her, ooohh she loved. There was probably 5-6 different sized boxes in that room. I couldnt handle it anymore ;p I will be making expansions for her castle. she does still have a couple boxes in there though, she likes to eat and shred them lol
