The little control on the bottom of the forums page that says how many users are logged in and are registered has disappeared?
I just saw this post. I was not yet a member here when the log in info was displayed, but actually, I have been wondering about this here as well. I have this on another forum I belong to and I enjoy that feature because it helps me as both a member and a moderator to "notice" who is spending a lot of time learning. On the site, there is also a feature that shows you who is reading the same topic you are reading (which is just kind of FUN).
I don't know if it's something necessary if it's trouble to fix, but if it's easy, it's fun. I do sometimes post a question and wonder here if anyone is online or not. In my other animal forum, it's helped me to sort of sense a "rhythm" of when people are online most, and to try to be around during those times in case newbies (or anyone) has questions that I can help with.
Definitely like the feature as you feel a little less lonely!! Also, since clicking the "active topics" often returns no topics, it seems like no one is really posting!
