  So i have had my bunny for 4 days and i do not know if it is a he or a she. I think it is a he because it doesn’t have nipples. I like to get him out and play and he does some bunny 500’s and i think he binkies and he licks me alot. But he does sometimes thump his back feet and nip/bite me but only when i rub his cheeks. But he will sometimes keep biting/nipping my hand. He does let me pet him if he wants it and will crawl all over me. He is a mini rex and i do not know his age.

  If he nips/bites/thumps only during specific things, stop doing those things if possible. Like rubbing his cheeks. He doesnt like that if hes nipping you If he bites/nips/thumps randomly, youll want to investigate as to why. Some rabbits thump when they want attention, others when they are unhappy, some when they are scared. Light nibbles can be your rabbit giving you love bites or tasting you. Biting usually doesnt mean they are happy

  Try petting him on top of the head instead of the cheeks. Most bunny love their head to be petted from just behind the nose to between the ears. Gentle nips/nibbles aren’t uncommon, but firmer nips are generally an indication that you’ve done something wrong. Whether it’s simply just not having moved your hand out of the way in time or something It sounds like he is very comfortable around you, it’s simply a matter of what is triggering the nipping. Some bunnies nip when unhappy, others nip to be bossy.
