Hey all!  I was watching cute bunny videos online and came across this one….

This may be a stupid question but I wanted to put it out there to see what I could find out.  Just pure curiosity.

So reading and learning the past couple of weeks (and correct me if I am wrong) but it seems that buns have to be slowly introduced to each other to see if they will accept one another other wise there could be serious consequences whether they be physical, mental or emotional.

So I guess I was wondering how something like what is seen in this video works…?  Wouldn’t there be the possibility of a scuffle or two?

So many bunnies and people in one area…I thought that would be a bit overwhelming for the buns but they do seem to be relaxed and having a good time.

Is this something that is generally possible or is it almost unheard of?

Again, just curiosity.  Plus it’s just cool to watch  so I figured I would share!!!

Another one and this is in a house or apartment! Bunnies and people everywhere!!! I am just amazed that they could all be together like that after reading some of the stories about introducing bunnies to each other…..
maybe this is just some super secret society of bunny whisperers??? lol

I sort of wonder how those bunny play groups work too. No idea. I know trying to bond my two boys is pretty difficult. Maybe the more bunnies there are, the less territorial they are? It probably helps to that the area is unfamiliar to the buns so they are not all trying to protect their territory.

I have never understood those play groups either. Putting rabbits together like that certainly goes against everything we’ve always heard about proper bonding. It seems like scuffles (at the least) would be breaking out. It just doesn’t sounds safe to me and it seems like it might be intimidating or even scary for some rabbits.

I know someone who had 8 rabbits kept in an outdoor garden. It was 4 bonded pairs who were not bonded as a group (not recommending this!)

They seemed to do ok together because they had sooo much room. It’s difficult to get territorial over such a huge area I guess. If there was negative bunny body language the bullied rabbit got out of the way. Maybe it’s the same with a park?
