I’m going to be adopting a 7 week old holland lop in 3 days, and I’m a tad confused as some people say that’s too young while others say that’s the right age to adopt. I bought oxbow young rabbit pellets and some alfafa and Timothy hay. The oxbow says to feed along with grass hay but I read that you should only feed baby rabbits alfafa hay. ? What should I feed her? And should I wait another week until I get her? The person I’m getting her from says its fine to get her in three days, so I’m guessing she must be weened already. Should I just ask the lady what she’s been feeding her rabbit? And should I just gradually change her diet to oxbow and alfafa/timothy hay (which one?)
