        Hi everyone!

I have a neutered one year old lionhead bunny and a new addition, Zoe, a female Holland lop bunny. I was wondering if anyone has done a DIY rabbit cage in your house and what materials you used? I have seen cubes being used with zip ties and other methods such as wood building, etc. Also, I’ve seen cool furniture turned into a cage area. I’m just curious to know what other people have done and if they found it successful. I do not trust my buns to be alone together quite yet, so I would need some sort of separation.

        Thank you!

I’ve converted an old XXL dog crate into a bunny cage, but other than that my rabbit has free range of the whole entire house. If you want something easy and low cost, be a good idea to look into Ex pens.

I use part of my study. So two sides are the wall, then it is also bordered by the back of a bookshelf, a filing cabinet, and then the last part of the border is a couple of parts of a play pen, which makes a good gate/entrance. I’ll have to take some photos sometime soon. My buns have been sharing for years so they are fine together. But it’s a big enough area that I could separate them with more play pen pieces through the middle.
