Hello everyone this is just a journal for mine and nails journey for figuring out whats going on with her health. As of right now her symptoms are sneezing and a wet nose. We are currently on anti-biotics for suspected pasteurella. She is still continuing to sneeze.

Im looking to get an air purifier. Fingers crossed everything works out.

        Thanks everyone!

I’ll be very interested in your journal, and I think others will too. Pasteurella/snuffles/sneezing is a common problem in bunnies. It can take a long time to get rid of, but sometimes one course of abx is enough.

            Fingers crossed ((((((Nala))))))

update: Nala is almost done with her antibiotics. Monday we will be going back to the vet for a check up to see if she can go back with the other bunnies. Lately her symptoms have gotten better. She has stopped sneezing, she has no more nasal discharge, BUT last night I noticed eye goop. So I am going to watch that, I cleared it out so I will know if its fresh tonight. Fingers crossed, but I think we are moving in the right direction.

Oh, no….. Sorry to hear that. Has your vet ever done a culture? Maybe it’s a different type of bacteria causing the problem.

She told me that a culture might not tell us because if it is pasteurella it could give off a false negative. But I might ask to do one just in case on Thursday
