Hey, so I have 2 female bunnies, one around 3 years old who is spayed, and a new one around 9 months who isn’t spayed yet. We have been slowly introducing them since we got the younger one, but they seem to hate each other. The older one just seems curious until the younger one gets aggressive, and then it’s fight time. Do you guys think it would be easier once the younger one is spayed? Should we just keep them separate forever? I would like for them to be good friends, but I have doubt that it will ever happen!!

Stop trying to bond them until the younger one is spayed and healed (at least a month). If they keep getting into scuffles, even small scuffles, it can ruin any possible bond in the future if they begin to hold grudges. So youll want to stop that, and in the mean time while you wait to spay the younger one, swap their items between their cages (every few days, swap their litter boxes, water bottle/bowl, toys, ect). It will get them used to having eachothers smell in their personal territory and will help when you bond in a few months
