So my local shelter which I volunteer with the bunnies at, let’s just say isn’t well educated in bunnies. And the program for the bunnies is bad. They don’t do correct interviews for adoption. Besides me ( I can’t be there everyday because of work) no one knows how to take care of them. The ladies who take care of the cats will take care of them but they barely give hay and over load them on pellets. People kinda look at me weird because whenever there are meetings and they are talking about stuff with the dogs and cats I always put my word in and say don’t forget the rabbits. They are so underrated and unrepresented there. But I wanna make changes. Like with the adoption process and who takes care of them knows what’s going on. Any suggestions of how to do this would be appreciated

I’m in the same situation as you, Moo, and as soon as I get back to Kuwait in a couple of weeks, I’m overhauling the bun section at the shelter where I volunteer. I’d be happy to share anything I find useful.
