I took my bunny, Luna, to get spayed 3 days ago.  (before I start this post let me just say, not having her in the house for a few hours was horrible!!! my house totally felt empty)

She’s been doing really well with her recovery and is acting like her normal self.  When she was discharged from the vet, the vet tech told me she was on a “limited exercise” restriction for 14 days.  I’m wondering what exactly “limited exercise” entails.  She’s usually a free range bunny, however I’ve been keeping her in her cage for the past few days because of the restriction she’s on.  Her cage is a really large C&C cage and she’s totally spoiled in there.

Does anyone else have experience with this, and what was your “limited exercise”?  I’ve been thinking about letting her out to roam around in my room because I feel so bad to keep her in the cage, but then again I don’t want her to hurt herself, I want what’s best for her!

Its mainly dont let her run too much and dont let her binky. Its to help protect the stitches so they dont rip or come undone. Glad she is doing so well after her spay!
