So I have 2 (sometimes) wonderful buns whom I love.  They have separate housing which is just two dog play pens attached to plywood floors. neither are chewers on wood but i still worry about them eating the plywood so im going to change the flooring to foam puzzle pieces, also so they are more water resistant.

anyways I originally had plans on joining their cages but since I bought one as an intended bonded pair for my original bun and they literally HATE eachother, I dont see that happening. So with 2 separate litter boxes and feeding areas, hay seems to get everywhere! I am about to move out of my current studio apartment into a nicer 1 bedroom and I really want to strive to keep it clean.

Any tips on how to keep hay out of all cracks and crevices of my life?

I forgot to mention that they are fed in their litter boxes which are over sized cat litter boxes. I have tried to use the hay racks and they made more of a mess.

I have a male bunny in a small bedroom, so the hay will always go everywhere or his poops since he’s being territorial (funnn)
I use a clear plastic mat, not the ones with any sort of fabric, but the hard ones that will stick to the floor, it’s easy to sweep any messes, and where I’m from you can get it pre cut (I live in canada, I purchased at canadian tire for cheap).

            I’ll try insert a picture..
