When i got Muffin we asked what breed she was and we were told by the woman in the pet shop that she was a mixed breed. I really want to know so we have some sort of idea what a good weight is for her! Any help is appreciated.

Lop mix I can’t really see a particular type of lop which is likely due to the mix. It’s really tough to know how much a mixed breed should weigh, really depends what breeds are in the mix and even then the offspring can be on any spectrum of the weight range that either parent is on.

She looks like a healthy weight though. If you take her to the vet for an annual check up they’ll be able to tell you whether she’s overweight. Then just write down her weight from the vet and keep track of that at home.

Hmm… she appears to be an adorabilus lop.

She looks like a Mini lop with Harlequin markings. She’s very beautiful!

                    Q8 – I think she’s more a lop-gorgiosiooo – a known mixed breed

As Azerane says I think she looks a good weight too – there should be a slight ‘waist’ where the back legs ‘stick out’ if you’re standing above her (oh dear that’s not very well explained….mdr ) but as I recently noticed with Zou, when they get overweight that waist disappears becoming one flat line with the hind legs and next stage the waist starts to have a muffin top (or rather muffin side)….bulging out….

Not far removed from us then……
