My bunny lives in a spacious hutch, and he is happy in there but I know he would prefer to free range around our back yard during the day. At the moment he gets supervised playtime, and I am constantly having to gently shoo him away from areas that he could get out. We have blocked them up the best we could, but I am terrified that if we leave him alone the whole day, he will find a way to escape and be lost forever. Does anyone have any tips to stop your bunny from trying to escape? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

        Thanks (:

It would be extremely dangerous for a rabbit to be out in yard by itself. They can squeeze through small areas, can dig out under fences, and any predators can come in or fly in over a fence. They can also eat plants that are dangerous to them. I have known of rabbits that were attacked in fenced yards, even when people were close to them. There is no way to keep a rabbit safe that is loose by itself out in a yard.
