I wanted to make a list and write out my rabbit’s favorite things because I am still struggling with her not being here anymore. It sounds silly, but I hope that the more I think about her and and her life the better she will be taken care of where she is now because it means she was very important to someone. If anybody who misses their rabbits wants to do the same you can post a reply about your rabbits’ favorite things and what they liked to do. You can post a picture or memorial videos too.

Mopsy’s Favorite Foods: I have to start with this because one of her favorite things to do was eat.

Lettuce(fresh from our back garden, she liked the stems the best)

        Apples

Juice squeezed from a fresh watermelon

        Pineapple and the fresh juice

The little seeds and nuts in her pellet mix.

        Yogurt chips

The flat, broad, dark green pieces of hay. She didn’t care much for the hard, hollow middle pieces that look like tiny straws and ate them when all her favorite pieces were gone.

        Salt wheels

Lots of other sweet, juicy fruits.

        Parsley

She was a fruit rabbit more than a vegetable rabbit.

        Orange/grapefruit peels

        Peaches

        Mopsy’s Favorite Activities:

        Sleeping/napping

Baby talk and me playing with her like a baby

        She found yo-yo’s interesting

Being groomed/brushed/combed and dry bunny bath powder.

        Cleaning her fur

        Getting hugs and kisses

Having open spaces to run around as long as the floor had carpet or rugs. She didn’t like smooth floors.

Running in the back garden and hiding in the shade. Also, digging holes in the back garden to get to food like the lettuce patch. Digging up carpet corners.

Mopsy liked other animals and babies.

Watching tv – she liked to sit down with anyone to watch the television. We would spread a sheet for her to sit on or she would be sitting on my bed. When she was on my bed she liked to watch me play video games. She would snuggle and fall asleep on her side while I was playing. Sometimes I would end up with a lifeless arm – one side used to play the game and the other Mopsy was sprawled on top and I couldn’t move it without waking her

        Mopsy’s Favorite Shows/Movies:

Full House(she really liked this one, even the theme, I don’t know why)

Winnie the Pooh and other kid/baby shows

        Home Alone 1&2

Some animated Disney films like 101 Dalmatians

I don’t think she liked scary movies and I didn’t really show them to her. Action would sometimes be alright. She didn’t like to be alone and would watch almost anything as long as someone was sitting with her. If I got up she would get up and watch me. She wouldn’t settle down until I got back and sat down next to her.

Things Mopsy didn’t like(there aren’t a lot because she enjoyed her life):

Babies and kids pulling her ears(she was calm, but it was more so me not liking this and I never let them near her again. I actually never let strangers near her unsupervised by me except 2 of my close animal-lover friends).

        My friend’s chihuahua.

        Having her nails clipped

Loud noises and enclosed spaces she didn’t think she could get out of easily

Pet clothes/accessories(she liked to be “free”)

Hardwood/smooth floors and the sound of ruffling plastic.

I hope to post more pictures in the future. She was really cute Netherland Dwarf and I have a lot more cute pics.

She’s beautiful. Thank you for posting that list. Chomondeley is such a vegetable rabbit! He would never be able to eat what Mopsy ate! Though he does like parsley too. Mopsy sounds like such a loved bunny.

Heh, I remember Oreo loved to try and steal my junk food on many occasions, never got to tho. She wasn’t happy about her nails being cut or her cage being cleaned. She use to grunt her disapproval many of times. She did however like baby talk, cuddles, sitting on my lap, being held which surprised my vet, carrots, celery and pretty much any bunny safe veggies. She went through countless moves with me and was my daughter until she passed away in her sleep of old age, she was just a few months shy of 10 years. She had arthritis but it didn’t stop this bun one bit. She never slowed down one bit and was hyper every step of the way. Freckles was my little boy, he loved his veggies, his willow balls, his plastic toys he’d chuck, nudge and just hold. He loved being near everyone and had to be with me at all times. He loved his cuddles, his kisses and tried to chew anything he could find but was stopped lol. I’m glad he picked me as his momma. I miss them dearly.
