My neighbor is moving out and gifted me with (NO JOKE!) a couple CASES of bagged fruit.  Some I know is safe like the apricots and cranberries, but not sure about like the mango, prunes, pineapple and that.  He also gave me some trail mix.  I’m going to pick the nuts out, but is that safe?  I can’t see this going to waste, though a certain bunny WILL be sharing the dried bananas and apricots with mom   He also gave me some organic applesauce in different flavors, like strawberry.  Are this safe?  This is the really good stuff that i was all  WOW over.  The same with some juices, though not sure about those.  And the jarred asparagus.  Not sure about that, but thought i would try.

Mango and pineapple are safe. In small amounts of course, but that’s the same with all fruit. Pineapple is used as a digestive aid for rabbits, as is papaya (if you happened to get any papaya). Prunes/plums is listed as safe in some places and not in others, so I don’t know about that. Applesauce would be good if you need to give your bun not-so-great-tasting medicine, but since it has sugar, I’d not recommend it for any other use.

Really great gifts! Nice neighbour! Lucky bunny =)

Thanks! I wasn’t sure about some. Will see if anyone else knows about the prunes. That’s not all he gave me, but it’s the part that relates to Remus so… He’s a great guy and we always got along well
