We are now day 11 post spay. Bramble had a rocky recovery so was on CC for a couple of days. Her appetite has really changed.

Pre-spay all she would eat was rye grass hay which was quite stalky. Post-spay all she wants is soft grassy hay. She now gobbles pellets whereas before she was not so bothered. She has also gone off basil post spay! These have all happened very suddenly so I think must be connected. Just wondered if anyone had experienced this?

Also Bramble is really freaking out with every vet visit. She is so highly strung which I think is common in Nethies? If anyone has any advice to calm her on the drive & when we’re waiting with the noisy dogs, id be really grateful!

        Thank you

I wouldn’t worry much about the appetite change. Sounds like she is still eating with gusto.

Yes, Nethies are usually more high-strung. If you don’t already, I suggest keeping her carrier covered with a blanket on the ride there and at the office. The darkness and unable to see all the scary stuff might help.
