  My boyfriend’s rabbit passed away about a month ago. I made him some artwork of his bun flying through the sky with a rainbow. (this was before i knew of this forum’s name).
  
  I feel bad because I wanted Nikki to move in with us, but he had tooth problems where the back ones would press into his eye, so even when filed down, he would get a leaky eye and not want to eat.
  
  My boyfriend did everything he could for him, but the vet recommended that it was time to end it, so Armin brought him in to the vet for the last time.
  
  I remember him messaging people in our online chat room, he said he was taking Nikki to the vet again, and that he was probably coming back without him.
  
  It was heartbreaking.

  I’m sorry that you lost Nikki. It is heartbreaking when you have to let your darling go, even when you know it’s the right thing to do. I hope Armin is ok. Your artwork is beautiful.
