Hi, I have recently got 2 baby mini lops. They have a large corner litter tray wich they use 90% of the time but recently they have a new habit of weeing and pooing on top of their wooden house. There is only about half a foot between the top of the house and the cage so I can’t have anything too big up there, I don’t want to take away that space as they like to hop on and off of it. I thought that I could put a metal baking tray on top with some litter and sawdust in so the wooden house dosent get soaked with wee. I keep cleaning it with pet friendly disinfectant but it’s starting to look awful . is there anything that could go wrong with this like if they lick the metal or anything like that? Any other sugestions would also be appreciated

maybe plastic tray instead of metal? or just make sure the metal doesnt rust overtime.
