So my bunny, nibbles is a 10 month old dwarf. (I’ve had her since 3 months) She is really really sweet and we’ll mannered but super playful and happy. Today I was playing with her and noticed the bottom of her foot was bright blue. It looks so weird. The way it’s colored if it were red I would have no doubt it was blood. But it’s bright blue. I’m guessing she must have stepped in something ( not sure how or even what) but I really want to get it off before she messes with it and gets it in her system. It’s not wet or anything.
I tried gently putting just her foot in water and then throughly drying it (she didn’t react at all lol) but couldn’t get it off. Any suggestions? She seems happy and fine, I just don’t want to have to worry about it.

I fixed the image in your post for you.

I think it was a good move to wash it, just in case. It looks like the blue has stained her fur, so it may be visible for a while yet. Do you use newspaper in her litterbox at all? Maybe some ink from newspaper or other paper around the place caused the blue? Or could she stepped in a cleaning product somewhere?

One of my buns got bright pink feet this Christmas from a rag-rug with poor color fastness to rubbing. I tried to wash it out with soap and water, but it didn’t come off. We threw out the rug and gave him a better quality one and he rubbed the color off in 2 days or so. Maybe sth similar has happened to Nibbles?
