This is my first post. Ive followed all of you for a long time to train and understand my buns.

My bunny nebbie loves to flop, where he’ll look at me and lick his paws. Besides the obvious of being happy or taking a nap, the way he flops licks his paws and then give me this pathetic look. I always wonder if that’s his way of saying, “come pet me, I’m cute.”

If I go up to him he gets up into a laying position where he does enjoy me petting him.

Is it possible to apply when he lays and likes to stare at me?

Has anyone had this experience, or know if it’s a way to ask for love?

I think it’s a way to ask for love. If he flops in front of you, that’s definitely a good sign- it means trust, relaxation, affection. It sounds like it’s a way to ask for love. Chomondeley will flop right in front of me and then lick the carpet, as if grooming it. If I put my hand near him, he licks my fingers and then pushes his head under my hand for me to “groom” him. (By that, I mean pet him.) So yes, I do think it’s a form of affection and trust.
