        Hello guys. Today I had bought a bag of “Red and Green Multileaf lettuce,” at the supermarket. At first I thought it was a mixture of different types of red and green lettuces (because the name has ‘multi’ in it) but the ingredients only say “Red Multileaf lettuce and Green Multileaf lettuce,” and to be quite honest, I don’t actually know what that is.. I was just wondering if it’s ok to feed Biffle some.

          That sounds okay to use. You don’t see any iceberg lettuce in it, do you? That would be pretty easy to spot. If you did see any, you could pick it out. I think the bag probably contains a variety of leaf lettuces, and those are fine for rabbits.

            It’s not certain that Iceberg actually is dangerous to rabbits, I’ve read that it could be a case of correlation without causality. That said, I’d still pick out the Iceberg pieces if I saw any, eat them myself and feed the rest to the buns. It’s the only type lettuce that’s not deemed suitable for rabbits.

            Multileaf lettuce does seem to be a type of lettuce, and it’s not Iceberg. It should be fine.

              @Tobyluv

              Thanks a lot! I can’t see anything that looks like iceberg, which is a good sign.

              @Bam

              Thanks! I wouldn’t feed my rabbit iceberg lettuce just in case. I did also think that ‘multileaf’ was just a type of lettuce, but I thought it would be smarter to ask some other rabbit owners.

                Mine have just shared half a bag of mixed lettuce. It included beetroot, so I picked that out and ate it, just like bam suggested she’d do with iceberg. Then it was a case of ‘tuck in everybunny’
