Missy had her babies on March 5, she is a blue dutch lion head and Dozer, the daddy, is a brown Flemish giant new Zealand. Out of this mix we got a cute little albino! (Assumingly from the new Zealand side).
I’ve noticed a lot that she does something I’ve never seen a bunny do before. I know b bunnies move their head a lot to help with depth perception and seeing things. What she does is nothing like that. I’ve noticed it ever since she opened her eyes and started wondering around more, buy the Bf just noticed it last night.
What she does is that she will kind of stare off at something and just very slowly move her head side to side. Has anyone else had a rabbit do that? The Bf thinks it looks like she goes into a trance or something.
I read that albinos can have eye or neurological issues? I don’t think she’s blind but idk what would be wrong.

That’s sounds like what is called scanning and it quite common in red-eyed-White rabbits. It’s nothing to worry about. Because their eyes are different, they do this to compensate a little impairment.

Thank you! I’m so glad there’s nothing to worry about! I didn’t think she truly had anything wrong but I wasn’t sure!
