Is there an effective way to discipline a rabbit? When my dog goes to pick up an improper toy, I say “NO” and give him the right toy.

My bunny is 4 months old. The vet won’t neuter him till 6 months. When he has decided the cat will be his one true love in life and projectile pees on me when I separate them, DEAR LORD HOW DO I CORRECT THAT?

Probably not much you can do until your bunny is neutered (aside from keeping him away from your kitty).

My bun responds to a firm (but not loud) no, or a snapping of my fingers if he’s trying to access something he shouldn’t.

Try stopping the action that leads to the unwanted behavior as soon as possible. For example if I see my bun looking or edging towards the corner of the room I don’t want him to be in I’ll stand in his way or distract him so I don’t have to say no.

BUT my Jack is neutered, so he doesn’t have the hormonal behavior yours does.

I agree with LBJ. Keep the cat away the best you can.

Just count down the days until everything will become much easier. Also, I’ve heard it can take almost a month for the hormones to find their way out of the rabbit’s system, so don’t be surprised if everything doesn’t calm down right away.

Thank you! I will try those deterrent strategies! He has already descended, so I found a vet willing to do the surgery since he has matured making the wait time a couple weeks rather than a couple months! Thank goodness haha! I understand it can take time for the testosterone to work its way out, will just be patient haha
