OUR FORUM IS UP BUT WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF UPDATING AND FIXING THINGS.  SOME THINGS WILL LOOK WEIRD AND/OR NOT BE CORRECT. YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED.  We are not fully ready to answer questions in a timely manner as we are not officially open, but we will do our best.

We have found buying from feed stores in bulk saves a ton of money, especially with so many mouths to feed. We can get a 50lb bag of pellets for $13. Hay is much cheaper also, even though we can only buy large 6-10lb Kaytee hay. No one sells bales in our area.

Also, when buying greens, I look for the mark down salad blends. They’re usually still in good shape and already cut up and washed.

I know, a couple obvious ones, but ones we always use.
