My two year old neutered bun Ford doesn’t play with his toys unless I hold them and put it in his face or roll it toward him.

He makes the growls/honking noises as he grabs his toys and jerks them around. I find it funny and he reminds me of a dog when he plays, but from what I read, those noises aren’t good, but I can’t think of any other ways to play with him. Maybe he’s being territorial and thinking the objects are invading his space even though they’re always there with him.

My rabbit doesn’t always play with her toys either unless i wave them in front of her face. Then she’ll angrily throw them out of her pathway.
The exception is if I have a willow ball and put a treat inside it. Then she has to roll it around, toss it, or chew it to get to the treat in side. you could try something like that.
If I give her willow branch toys she won’t really play with them, but she will eat them. Which is enough for me since I just want her to keep her teeth healthy.
