About 3 weeks ago Charles ate a pack of gum, he seems to be almost fully recovered now. However, he does not want to eat his normal timothy hay that I usually feed him. I gave him a small bunch of alfalfa hay to try to get him to eat any hay at all (it was his favorite when he was a baby) and he did eat that hay, but he is a 9 month old bunny and I know alfalfa hay is for baby bunnies so I can’t just keep feeding him that. Any suggestions on how to get him back to eating timothy hay?

Maybe try mixing the alfalfa and his timothy hay and then slowly giving less and less alfalfa. I’m sure at first he will just pick out the alfalfa but eventually he might get his appetite back for grass hay.

Kmurphy, I will give it a try, thanks for the advice!
