New Bunny Mom here.  Noticed a round bump which seems to have a “pimple type” hard head to it.  Is this common?  Something concerning that I should take him to the vet right away?  Could it be a bug bite?

Is it just a hard bump on the skin but not attached to anything underneath and feels like a pinhead? If yes, sounds like a cyst. Both my bunnies have some and the vet just advises to keep an eye on them. She doesn’t remove them unless they get bigger or cause problems. Only way to know if that’s what your bun has is to have a vet check it out.

My bun has something like that on his head. It looks like a nipple. 😉 It doesn’t seem to bother him and hasn’t changed at all, but it is oily. The hair around it is always a little greasy-looking.
