Chomondeley is about 4 months old and not neutered. He is very friendly, especially in the mornings- that is when he will run up to me, circle my feet in a “welcome dance” and purr lightly, and also lick my fingers. In the afternoons, when I come home, he is either bunny loafing or napping on his pet bed. When I put him out and let him run around, he immediately becomes affectionate again and runs around me, binkies, and seems genuinely happy for me to be around. I’m wondering if this behavior is normal? I know that rabbits are crepuscular, they nap during the day, but does anyone else’s bun do this? Sometimes it seems like he wants nothing to do with me… sometimes it seems like he really loves me. Anyone’s input? Thank you!

That sounds really normal When you need to sleep you need to sleep We all have cycles during the day of being more or less active and that suits how rabbits cycle

I was worried it was out of the ordinary… do your buns every get angry/stand-offish with you for no apparent reason?

Olivia does. She sometimes just pummels me because she feels like it. She’s a mega diva. Lovey one minute, the next minute beating you up….

Chomondeley doesn’t pummel me but he does act like I’ve wronged him in some ways sometimes… I’m glad that it seems normal, I worry about Chomondeley a lot! (Too much!)

My bunnies are like that too. Very affectionate in the mornings and evenings, but generally not at all interested in cuddles during the day.
