A rescue in Pittsburgh did a bunny yoga class like last year or the year before, I was so upset because I didn’t have a way to it because it was like an hour and a half away and I don’t have a car.  It’s probably best that I didn’t go, my lack of balance and coordination could have been a problem. But I really love the idea of doing promotional stuff like that with adoptable animals, it gives people a chance to actually hang out with the animals in an environment OTHER than the shelter.

How funny – i’m not a yoga kinda gal, but I’d go just for cuddles !!
I presume all are litter trained and they behave, but I just KNOW that Zou would chomp one of the those foam mats in minutes !!!

Great way to get people to understand that buns should be out of cages !

Chester jumps on the mat with me pretty much every time I do yoga. I think he’s just extra happy when I’m at his level  I wish there was a Bunny Yoga class here, I’d go in a heartbeat!

I don’t really do yoga, but whenever I’m on my yoga mat doing exercises, Moxie will go under me, on top of me or just lay next to me. (If I’m doing sit ups, crunches or push ups she’ll just on my stomach or back ha ha. One Time I was doing planks and my arms were really shaking because I was holding it for a while and Moxie who is 9 pounds jumped on my back and took me out lol!)

What a great thing! Not only that people could meet bunnies for adoption on a ground where buns could show how lovely they are but shelter also got some money support.

Yes Bandaids for bunnies is in the same city as the rescue I volunteer at. We are considering having one. Their yoga class sold out in 6 hours the second time.

It’s very similar to a doggy walking day we have in the UK.

The (dog) rescue centre ‘lends’ out dogs for the day to to go on a huge walk with (hundreds?) of dogs together.

My cousins went on the walk one year with their 3 dogs and had a +1 from the centre to walk along with…..
and OF COURSE you know the rest of the story…. he walked so brilliantly with the others and ws so lovely that they came home with him !!

That’s the idea !!! And it works !!

I would love to go to this if it was near me! My local SPCA does Doggy Yoga.

                              Great pic, Bubbles!!!!

I do yoga once in a while when I have time. I wish I had time to do it everyday. Gives me so much energy. There’s lots of great yoga classes on Youtube.
