I’m literally crying my eyes out right now. Thumper wouldn’t stop sneezing and covering his face and I literally just called 6 emergency vet clinics in COMPLETELY different states because no one could answer my question. So I’m scared to go to sleep because I just feel like I need to be with him right now and monitor him. I’m taking him to the vet in the morning because I’m so scared

It’s okay. What other symptoms does he have? Just the sneezing? Is he eating and pooping okay?

Yes he’s pooping and he’s eating perfectly fine he keeps going back and forth between his pellets and hay because he can’t choose which one he wants more and I have him a digestive treat by oxbow and there was no hesitation in him taking it. He’s not hunched over he’s hopping around just sneezing he sneezed 3 times in a row covering his face which striked my attention the most

Do you think it’s okay if I sleep? Or should I stay up and monitor him because I will without hesitation

I think I found the cause!!! Thumper was just neutered Friday so instead of using his regular litter I put in the care fresh paper bedding just so it wouldn’t cause irritation. so me being the perfectionist i am and needing things to be clean for my bunnies especially during something like this i completely cleaned out thumpers cage new fleece and towels as well as the bottom of the cage being disinfected new pellets and new hay just new everything then i went to empty the litter box laddi da i go to put some new stuff in and it’s so DUSTY hopefully thats what it was and nothing more serious he just had a check up friday

Switch back to his regular litter and see if that helps.

Simply sneezing is typically not life threatening. Yes, if sneezing is happening and it’s ongoin, then they need to see a vet for a possible URI. But as long as they are eating and pooping, it isn’t a huge emergency and you can usually wait to get them in with your regular vet.

Lol, Its nice to know we are not the only ones who freaked out about the sneezing.
Our rabbits sneeze sometimes in a row when a hay is particularly dusty, from what my vet said its not a problem (in fact its normal) unless you notice other symptoms like disharge from the nose/eyes
