        Hey everyone!

Because of storm Jonas this weekend, my check was delayed in memphis. Winnie Ran out of pellets Saturday shes only 4 months old, I am buying pellets as soon as I get out of work today. She has been eating romaine lettuce and alfalfa hay since then, But I can tell my little girl is hungry as she sat in her pellet bag and ate the dusty crumbs:,( Im really hoping that this quick change in diet hasn’t hurt her tummy. She will be returning to her normal routine this evening as soon as i get off. My question is.. do you think her tummy will be fine? im hoping the lack of food doesnt cause gut stasis. She ate romaine lettuce last night and this morning, and I have been watching her eat her alfalfa hay.  any help??  I would like to add that this morning I dont think i saw any new poops just old poops from last night. :/ could her not having pellets slow her digestion system that much? keep in mind shes been eating romaine and alfalfa.

As long as she has hay she will be okay. Hay is the main thing to keep a rabbits digestive system going. Rabbits like pellets because they are sweet and since she is on alfalfa hay she will for sure be okay. pellets are meant to help keep weight up! as long as you arent switching to different pellets it should have no effect on her. But if you dont see any new poops with in an hour or so I would say be a little concerned and watching. I spot clean my rabbits cage every night cleaning up ALL poops so that i know when new ones have been made and how much.Just a tip that might help you figure out if she is pooping. I know it is hard sometimes to set money aside because there are all these things that you could be buying remember to have an emergency fund set aside just in case something like this happens again. As soon as i get paid i go immediately buy my rabbit supplies for the next two week so I know I wont run out of money as well as putting $20 aside just to make sure I am prepared for anything. Hope this helped feel free to ask me any questions I will try to help as much as I can.
