Hello everyone! I just joined the forums hoping for some advice as this will be my first time having a bun of my own. The little grey fluff down below is the one that I have picked out and according to the breeder he was born in November so he’ll be about 2/3 months old when I pick him up. I have a few questions. 1. What is the average lifespan of a Flemish Giant? 2. Will 12 square meters be a big enough cage for him? (I plan to just have him in there at night time and until I can properly potty train him.) 3. What age would be the best time to neuter him? 4. After neutering him would he be safe to bond with a (currently)1yo Mini Rex Doe(Spayed)? I’m sorry for all the questions and any tips/advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It’s hard to bond an older rabbit and a young but not impossible. He can get neutered around 4,5,6 months when his balls descend

That is the cutest pic, of course he won’t stay that size… ho ho ho !! You did want the equivalent of a jack russell dog, huh?!!

12 square metres ??!!!! that’s the size of my bedroom ! I should think that would do it !!! LOL
The important thing is that the cage roof is high enough so he can stand up on his back legs and periscope…. better still you could always buy an x-pen or puppy playpen so there is no ‘roof’… its just open – Beware if he is a jumper. Mine is 85 cm long laying down and I’ve had to put up a fence of 1m25 to keep her in…. LOL
Keep us updated with the photos please ! :o)
