We had monty neutered back in early December, literally a week later he was a new bunny he was incredible and so calm and didn’t ever bite.

We’ve just recently got a 6 month old un-neutered rabbit, we got him done asap and he’s now a happy bunny but only been two days. Monty has got super aggressive again.
We haven’t introduced them yet obviously, as nimbus has only just been neutered but plan to eventually once nimbus’ hormones are calmed, for now they’re in cages close and can see each other and when monty comes out he can touch him through the bars. It’s all been okay for now, but clearly monty has been threatened by the fact we’ve bought nimbus here. Although he shows no aggression towards nimbus so far. Is this just a phase until we introduce them and they can decide who’s boss etc. Sorry if these are stupid questions, it’s our first time introducing rabbits and don’t want to mess this up.

Your questions are not stupid. Monty probably reacts to not only a new bunny, but a bunny that smells like a male. The scent doesn’t go away the moment the bunny is neutered. It is in fact very rare that a neutered bunny changes his hormonal as soon after the procedure as Monty did. You were lucky Many buns actually become worse behavioral-wise the first few weeks after the “snip”.
Make sure Monty can’t reach Nimbus through the cage bars, bunnies can hurt each other badly. Hold off bonding for a month, then start introducing them in a neutral space.
