Hello! I currently got two lio head rabbits. They are currently eating Timothy Hay, but I am allergic to Timothy Hay. I researched and I found that Orchard Hay would be a good alternative, but I’m allergic to Orchard Hay as well. Is there another type of hay that would be just as healthy as Timothy and give them the same nutrients that they need? I am very worried and want to take the best care of them that I can. Thank you for your help!

You could try meadow hay or oat hay, but since you are allergic to timothy and orchard grass, it could be that any of the grass hays will give you trouble. There is also Bermuda hay. I have never seen that in bags, only at a hay barn that sells it by the bale. One other hay is blue grass. The Binky Bunny store sells small bales of it, but a little bit of timothy and orchard is mixed in, so that may not work for you. You might experiment with different brands, since some tend to be dustier than others and it could be the dustiness or fine particles that are giving you the most trouble. Different cuttings of hay may be less dusty than others too.
