Shopping for bunny safe bedding. I heard that fleece was good for bunnies but I wanted to know if the type of fleece mattered. Is polyester fleece okay compared to fleece made of sheep? If so, how can you tell what is real fleece in the stores

I only use polyester fleece for mine, I’ve never even considered fleece from real sheep. You want to be able to wash the fleece often and it shouldn’t be expensive because the bun will bite holes in it. I buy the cheapest fleece blankies at IKEA and such places, cut them up in halves and wash them every week or so. I have many so I rotate them. I thow them out when they get too many holes in them. My bunnies don’t pee on fleece, but many buns will.
