I have a good pellets for my rabbit or it lest i think . The pellets content are all the right %%%%% but the fat is only 1% over the 2 % limit . So my question is is it ok that the food for my rabbit only has that 1% off or should i change the food to a new brand ?

What brand are you using, and can you post the nutritional info for it? Make sure that you are giving your rabbit plain pellets, without any seeds or colored bits. Oxbow is a good brand, but some other brands are good too.

Is your rabbit young or adult? Oxbow young rabbit food has 2,5% fat. What’s also important is the fiber-content. You want at least 20% crude fiber, preferably 25% If your bunny eats lots of hay (as it should), the fiber-content is less important. Hay is the most important food for a bunny.
I can’t find the specifics of Hartz small animal diet.

Hartz is generally not considered to be one of the better brands. Most brands post the nutritional info on their websites, but as bam found, it is not listed on the Hartz site. Does it contain corn? It’s usually recommended that pellets should not contain corn, but some of the cheaper ones do. You can do searches on here and see what pellets people use. The majority seem to use Oxbow. Some others use Kaytee, Zupreem, American Pet Diner or other brands. I don’t remember seeing anyone post that they use Hartz. Look on the ingredient list on your bag of pellets and go to Oxbow or some of the other websites and see how the Hartz ingredients compare with some other brands. You would probably do better choosing another brand.
