Hi, I’m minding a bunny. My daughter gave me the hay bag and a bag of what looks like grasses that she feeds her bunny ( as per the breeder she got her bunny from). She said I can give occasional treats like strawberries and carrots. I’ve been reading here and see Bunnies should have fresh greens. Should I offer her some in a small amount ( like you introduce food to human babies ) and if so what us considered a small amount ( and the best greens) to start with please? Rabbs is about 6 months old and is a female floppy ear . Thanks

Ideally, a bunny should have veggies in their diet. You are correct when you said they should be introduced slowly. A good starter would be romaine or another leaf lettuce (no iceberg). You can start out by offering a few leaves. If all goes well, then you can up the amount. New veggies should be introduced one at a time after that.
