        – Unlimited Alfalfa Hay by Oxbow
        – Young Rabbit Oxbow Pellets, MIXED WITH: Browns Tropical Carnival Gormet Food.
        – Lettuce, Broccoli, Cucumber, or Carrot every other day.
        – One of those small carrot drop treats per week.
        – Fresh water everyday (of course)

My main question is: Is it ok if I feed the oxbow pellets mixed with the Browns Tropical Food everyday? Is it too fattening?

        Thank you!

Get rid of the Browns Tropical. Bunnies should not be eating seeds or nuts. And fruits/vegs should be controlled, not in their pellet mix. I know that stuff is marketed to rabbits, but it’s AWFUL for them.

Veggies should be given daily, if you can afford it. Lots of variety and leafy greens are best.

Cut out the carrot drops – that’s yogurt and … rabbits shouldn’t have dairy. Again, I know it’s marketed for them, but the pet stores will sell anything.

If your bunnie is still young, the Oxbow, hay and veggies are a good diet. Though, if you’re feeding alfalfa hay, you could also go with adult bunny pellets, since you don’t really need alfalfa pellets + alfalfa hay. But, it’s not that big a deal.

I agree with Stickerbunny. There are lot’s of things marketed at the store for bunnies that really are not good for them.

How old is your bunny? Alfalfa is good for young bunnies. You can use alfalfa pellets or alfalfa hay or both. Just remember that a rich diet can cause excess cecals. Depending on how big your bunny is (or will become), you can start transitioning to an adult diet around 6 months.

Leaf lettuces are fine to feed everyday. Broccoli is fine. Cucumbers are fine, but don’t have a lot of nutritional value. Carrots contain a lot of starch (sugar), so feed those sparingly. If you can afford it, your bunny should get a variety of veggies. Here’s a list of appropriate veggies: https://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/VeggieList/tabid/144/Default.aspx
