So I had let my rabbit out the other day and there was a mud puddle from the previous day’s, being the mischievous bun he is, he just had to run through it and he ended up getting muddy paws and on the upper half of his legs. I would like to clean it off because I’m worried about his well being and his health, but he DOES NOT like to be held one bit, will it fall off and will be clean it? Or should I try to wipe it off with a paper towel somehow?

A paper towel might not be very effective at cleaning his paws, since it will likely tear or shred, but you could take a slightly damp wash cloth or small towel and try to get the mud off. It might be helpful if you had someone else holding him, on the floor, while you cleaned. Since he doesn’t like to be held (which is very common) it would be hard for you to keep him still if you could only use one hand to hold him, while the other hand had the cloth.

Be careful letting him outside. Even in fenced yards, predators can come out of nowhere and there is always the possibility of a rabbit picking up parasites outdoors.
